Analyze your own project
You now know how to analyze a model in Moose. This page explains how to do the same with your own project.
1. Create a model of your project
Section titled “1. Create a model of your project”The tool to use depends on the language of your project.
Use VerveineJ, the Java parser of Moose. It is available as a release or as a docker image.
./verveinej.sh -format json -o MyProject.json -autocp ../MyProjectDependenciesOrLib/ ../MyProjectSrcFolder/On Windows, use verveinej.bat instead of verveinej.sh.
Meta-model to select when importing: FamixJavaModel.
Use ts2famix, described in this external tutorial.
The Python importer runs directly inside Moose: see the Python importer page.
Use VerveineC. It is less stable than the other parsers: do not hesitate to contact us.
FamixSQL builds a model directly from a database connection: see Getting started with FamixSQL.
To analyze the history and activity of a GitHub or GitLab project, see GitProjectHealth.
2. Import the model in Moose
Section titled “2. Import the model in Moose”- Open the Models browser from the Moose menu.
